HRBP is the interface between the Sciences Team in Rockville, Maryland and HR Department. This role supports R&D Center in Maryland and works collaboratively with the HR Department in China. HRBP is required to help business growth by creating intuitive programs that work to solve critical business problems. We need someone who is comfortable with being an advisor to executives, managers, and employees proactively providing genuine guidance and direction.
Provide business support on a variety of Human Resources (HR) related topics to the departments / leaders assigned. Key areas of expertise: HR planning, talent review, performance management, talent development as well as HR operations;
Acting as the lead translator of business and needs to the HR team in Headquarter to help craft company-wide HR systems and solutions;
Partnering with recruiting to fulfill HCs by conducting internal and external recruitment;
Facilitate implementation and execution of Human Resource policies, initiatives, process and programs;
Deal with employee lifecycle related issues and provide guidance to other business team members.
Independently manages other projects or issues that involve HR
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
More than 8 years’ HR experience with at least 4 years in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry as a Human Resources Business Partner role.
Strong communication skills
SHRM Certification a plus.
Significant knowledge of HR compliance related issues such as ADA, EEO and Affirmative Action. Including general knowledge of state and local employment laws.
Significant experience working in a fast-paced oriented role with strong attention to detail and has excellent time management skills.
