美国国会警察局长宣布辞职，称从未想过会发生暴力袭击

国会大厦警察局长Steven Sund今日宣布辞职，并于1月16日正式生效。据他本人表示，警方虽然在之前为民众表达自由的示威游行做好了准备，但从未想过会发生暴力袭击，这是他30年的执法生涯中从来没有经历过的。

在众议院议长佩洛西呼吁他离职后，他本人在今天递交了辞呈。
