graphic designer

Ameziel is seeking an intern. or junior graphic designer to join our fast-growing California team and support our expanding product assortment through social media and physical showrooms at our California office.

The ideal candidate is experienced in interior and/or graphic design. You are passionate about decor, furniture design, marketing, and furniture development, skilled in building cross-functional partnerships, thrive in driving change and evolving processes. You will work collaboratively with a team of product designers, in-house sales, and manufacturers currently based in Ontario, California, and China.

Responsibilities:

Working independently and collaboratively to create short social media videos aesthetically pleasing images, ads that accompany the written text and are aligned with the marketing strategies.
Working on branding stories, ads slogans, commercial and social media copywriting.
Work closely with Research and design department, marketing department, participate in trend researches and product review.
Mastery of industry-standard software, such as Adobe CC or other relevant digital tools.
Visiting trade shows, retail stores, factories as needed.
An excellent team player can work with multiple departments in a global e-commerce company.

Requirements:

Bachelors in graphic design or equivalent degree.
Professional short videos skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively drive change.
Awareness of market demand, styles, and trends, able to communicate with the team.
Proficiency with Adobe CC and other designing tools.
Flexible, adaptable, able to work in a changing and evolving environment with ambiguity.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in States and China.
An open mind and willingness to work across cultures and countries.
Excellent time management, ability to work responsibly at home and in the office.

+PLUS

Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
Experience working with globally based manufacturers. Having experience at a furniture company is a plus.
Basic knowledge of furniture making process; wood and steel manufacturing and assembly is a plus.

Job Type: Intern. Contract Part-time, or Full time

Job Pay: $20 - $30 per hour
